Surf to Sunset LUAU (Sheraton Kauai Luau)
- Review
The Surf to Sunset Luau is Kauai's only oceanfront Luau. The
Luau is held Mondays and Fridays, check-in is at 5:00pm. The Luau is
held on Poipu Beach at the Sheraton Kauai Resort and the event is held
footsteps from the white sandy beach. The event features award
winning entertainment, an extensive menu for all tastes and
numerous cultural facets. You should make your reservations directly
with Sheraton Kauai two weeks prior to arrival. By doing this
you will receive a 10% discount. The cost is $99.00 per adult,
children ages 6 to 12 are $42.00 (under 5 years old are
free). They offer VIP tickets "The Golden Circle Package" for
$120.00 per adult & $55.00 for children ages 6 to 12 (under 5 years
old are free). The VIP package includes premier stage side
seating; table service with salads, appetizers and beverages served
"family style"; signature lei. The costs for all of the packages
include beverages (soft drinks, Mai-Tais, beer, wine, mixed drinks),

Luau Kalamakū - Review
This Luau is held
at the historic Kilohana Plantation and is Kauai's "only Theatrical
Luau". The Luau is held every Wednesday and Friday and starts
at 5:00pm. Head to the Luau early and stroll the Plantation's
tropical grounds. In the late afternoon you can visit the
cultural demonstration and view the beautiful crafter’s creations
that are all “Made in Kauai”. The show is filled with hula and fire
dancers.
The cost for adults is $95.00, ages 12 to 18 is $65.00 and children
3 to 11 are $45.00. Note that prices do not include taxes.

Grand Hyatt Kauai Luau - Review
The Luau is held at the Grand Hyatt in Poipu on
Sundays and Thursdays, doors open at 6:00 pm. The evening
starts with the sound of the pu kani (conch shell) to greet all
guests. The event has traditional Polynesia songs and dances
from the islands of Tahiti, Samoa, New Zealand. The cost for adults
is $75.00, ages 13 to 20 are $65.00, and children 6 to 12 are $37.50
(5 and under Free).
Pa'ina 'O Hanalei - Review
The Luau is held beachside at the Princeville Resort on
Monday & Thursday. Check in begins at 6:00pm. Princeville
at Hanalei is recognized as one of the premier Ocean View Resort
Communities in the world and is absolutely gorgeous - one of our
personal favorites. The evening begins with the conch shell
announcing the beginning of the Pa'ina, inviting visitors and guests to participate in the
traditional Imu ceremony. The spectacular backdrop to this unique
Hawaiian Luau is amazing. The cost for adults is $125.00,

Smith's Tropical Paradise Luau - Review
Smith's Tropical Paradise Luau is held on
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The Luau starts at 5:00pm, upon
entering you will receive a shell lei and either take a narrated
tram tour or a leisurely stroll around the lush 30-acre gardens
(note the last tram tour departs at 5:30pm). At 6:00pm the Imu
Ceremony, where a Kalua pig that was wrapped in ti leaves and cooked
to perfection is taken out of the ground. The feast begins at
6:30, followed by the show at 8pm. Cost for adults is $78.00,
ages 7 to 13 are $30.00 and children 3 to 6 are $19.00.
